Okay, some rather fabulous ladies are going to be getting together tomorrow evening. This was something that I really, really wanted to be able to attend because getting to meet the likes of Jenn and Deb does not happen very often.
About a week and a half ago, I started researching airline tickets. I should have jumped on the purchase price at that time because just a few days later, they had increased by about fifty dollars. However, being a firm believer that things happen for a reason, I'm glad I didn't purchase them because the latest shenanigans in my District would have prevented me from going anywhere out of town.
Starting with the ouster of our Superintendent on Monday to having to meet with our CFO tomorrow along with one of our teachers, this week schedule has been crazy/busy.
I'm hoping that both Jenn and Deb and any other of the SoCal gals will partake in a margarita on my behalf. I think we should synchronize our watches so that we can all have a margarita making a toast to fabulous women everywhere.

It sounds like a mess. YOu would have been worried the whole time you were away, so it wouldn't have been as relaxing as you wanted.
We did drink a toast to you and to others who could not make it.
It was such a wonderful time...and one that I would like to do again...get on those tickets for next year...or better yet...maybe we'll bring the party closer to you!!!
Meeting good blogging friends for the first time is such a fun experience...I can't wait to do it again!!
