My parents would expect nothing less. This blog has never been about anything other than an avenue for me to write about my experiences in the classroom. It has been a place for me to vent, to find camaraderie and a place for me to share my triumps along with my sorrows. It has never been about trying to make money (other than the small Google adsense at the top which I think to date has earned me a whopping $40 that I've yet to see because Google doesn't cut the check until you earn $100).

It is so true, though. Your reflections are full of integrity in regards to your life both inside and outside the classroom. The raw account means more to me than you will ever know as a future educator! Stop by and see me sometime! Love your blog!
Quite right! I think the satisfaction of blogging comes from the sharing, which you do so well!
I like it!
There is such a huge divide between bloggers in it only for money and those that are not. It's very obvious which ones are which.
You are what you read. And write. :-)
Very cool!
I just discovered your blog. Very nice. I'm also a teacher and mother. So, I'm wondering if you've ever been in the position I'm about to describe: your child has a really mean teacher but you are careful not to complain as it may have a negative impact on your career path. Does this situation sound familiar to you, or to any of your readers? How do other people deal with this situation? I want to advocate for my child and her/his right to learn in a safe and comfortable environment. Yet, I'd like to avoid being ostracized by co-workers.
I have to agree. Thanks for continuing to write and share. :)
