I'm tired, my feet hurt, and it's hot outside! We have had a very mild summer, so of course, one of the hottest days of the year is the first day back at school.
However, I had a really good day with this group of students. Overall it felt very positive and great to be back doing what I think I do best.
More later this week-end. And, I know I owe some posts to other people, but it has been a busy few days.

Could be worse!
This is my 7th day walking students out to their car in the 110 degree heat. Starting next Monday, I begin my 2 weeks in the shade, while my partner walks the dismissal job. The first few weeks of school we have almost 385 students to hand deliver to a vehicle. Next month,after school activities start and it cuts dismissal to a quick 12 minutes.
I hope that your portable has airconditioning! Good luck on this first week, and let's hope the weather will cool down!
